Photo Competition
The most beautiful view of Paris
Until August 20, 2025, the observatory invites amateur and professional photographers to capture and share the most beautiful panoramas of the capital and their unique vision of the City of Light.
The selected photographs will be exhibited at the Paris Montparnasse Observatory in the autumn, and the winners will receive several awards.
A photographic experience open to all
The competition is open to all photography enthusiasts, regardless of level. Whether curious amateurs or seasoned professionals, all are invited to take part by sharing their shots on Instagram with the dedicated hashtag: #PlusbellevuedeParis
The principle? Capture and share the most beautiful view of Paris from a variety of vantage points. Architectural detail, iconic monument, scene of life… Each view is an invitation to celebrate the urban poetry and timeless elegance of Paris.
The public, alongside Observatoire Paris Montparnasse and its partner Phototrend, will be invited to vote for the most beautiful views of Paris, and thus highlight the 10 finalist photographs.
A dedicated exhibition and prestigious prizes
The 10 finalist photos will be exhibited from September 1 to October 10, 2025 at the Observatoire Paris Montparnasse, facing one of the most beautiful views of Paris.
The three overall winners will receive the following prizes:
🥇 1st Prize
An unlimited pass for the Paris Montparnasse Observatory until it closes
Two tickets to visit each of the Magnicity sites around the world – Berliner Fernsehturm (Berlin TV Tower) in Berlin (Germany), 360 Chicago Observation Deck in Chicago (USA), Euromast in Rotterdam (Netherlands), and Highline Warsaw in Warsaw (Poland).
